Best Travel Destinations for Couples

My last blog post was about best winter destinations for the holidays. But maybe you’re looking for something cozier, a good romantic getaway. The Christmas songs and Hallmark movies are all about love, it seems. Why not cash in on that?

  • Bali, Indonesia. Bali is the Isle of the Gods. You and your loved one can hike through beautiful lush greenery or spend a day away at a beach. If nightlife is your scene, Bali has some of the best nightclubs that make for a vibrant night.
  • New York, New York. New York tends to be the scene from some of the most iconic romcoms. Why not make your life a movie? Take your partner rowing in Central Park of you visit during the spring months. Or, in the winter, go skating at Wollman Rink and enjoy the festive music on Serendipity 3. You can also view a Broadway show, stargaze at Hayden Planetarium, or share a meal at a gourmet restaurant.
  • Lanai, Hawaii. Enjoy this remote island in Hawaii filled with luxury resorts. You and your soulmate can soak up some sun on the beach or by the poolside. A place called Sweetheart Rock offers some gorgeous sunset views.
  • Saint Lucia. This sun-kissed Caribbean island is perfect for couples. You two can get a couples massage, ride horses on the beach, or even try some more adventurous activities like ziplining or kite-surfing. Afterwards, why not try exploring a rainforest park?
  • Iceland. Maybe a bit of a chilly destination, but take it from me, it is a romantic and magical experience. See everything from frozen waterfalls to spouting geysers. Swim in a hot spring with your significant other and walk along a black sand beach. Even try to catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights!
  • Paris, France. How could I not include the City of Love? Share a cake at a patisserie, take a photo of the Eiffel Tower, and attach a lock to a bridge. Then, head over to the Temple of Love. Legend says if you share a kiss there, your relationship will grow even stronger.
